  • Descrição: A social drama in which a father leaves his family to live in the city, but his daughter eventually gets him to change his mind. The shopkeeper Thompson is tired of his business, and one night he leaves his wife and daughter behind. His daughter Nora wants to become an actress. She meets the actor Harry, who urges her to come to the city, where they will marry, and where he will find her a job. Nora leaves home, and takes up with Harry. In the restaurant, the waiter turns out to be Nora's father. He reads aloud a letter from Harry which shows that his intentions with Nora are not very promising. He roughly pushes Harry away, and takes Nora with him, back home. The family is reunited.
